Dominique White graduated from Argo High School in 2003 and pursued a major in journalism at Eastern Illinois University, graduating in 2007. Following college, Dominique spent over a decade in luxury retail, where they developed a deep passion for people development and merchandising. In 2018, she became a District Manager for a spa company until the COVID-19 pandemic caused her to lose her job in 2020.
By a twist of fate, Dominique entered the cannabis industry, initially mistaking a job opportunity for a position at a physical therapy rehab facility. Despite the surprise, she embraced the new path and has flourished in the industry for the past five years. Now serving as the Head of People and Operations at Ivy Hall Dispensaries, Dominique White brings a unique blend of personal passion and professional expertise to their role.
Growing up, Dominique witnessed the disproportionate effects of the War on Drugs on certain communities and saw how cannabis was unfairly stigmatized.
