As Rove’s president, Paul Jacobson has led the organization’s evolution, growth and market expansion from its launch in 2016 to its multi-state, multi-product presence today. A career-long commitment to capital structuring led him from an early career in biotech and banking to cannabis and launching and leading Rove.

After an early career as a compliance-focused engineer in biotech, Jacobson moved into international banking where he led the acquisition and disposition of $5b in financial instruments. Working for a small German bank while based in Luxemburg, Jacobson structured loans with major institutions such as Credit Suisse and Deutsche Bank. A growing entrepreneurial interest led him back to the United States, where he began investing in commercial and residential real estate. Sensing room for opportunity within a then-emerging cannabis industry, Jacobon, together with co-founders Phil Hon and Joanne Jacobson, launched Rove in 2016.

As Rove’s President, Jacobson handles executive management functions, oversees company financials and structuring, and is the primary lead for regulatory compliance responsibilities.

When not working, Paul enjoys spending quality time with his wife and five daughters.
