Ian Horne is the Head of Content for Money20/20's Amsterdam show, where he creates and curates onstage sessions for Europe's leading banking, payments and fintech event. He also features frequently as co-host for The Moneypot podcast.

Outside of the events business, Ian is a published author with a keen interest in decentralised finance. His debut book, Why DeFi Matters, released last year and chronicles the rise of bitcoin and DeFi, as well as the many ways in which both have impacted global finance. The book received endorsements from notable industry figures and featured as one of The Fintech Times' 'page turners of 2023'.

Ian began his career with Citywire Financial Publishers, where he launched its Wealthtech Show podcast, along with a regular newsletter and series of events, targeted at the UK's leading investors.
