Sacha Ghebali is SVP of Strategy and BD at The Tie, a leading provider of information services for digital assets. Prior to that, he was US Operations and Data Analytics Lead for Kaiko, a leading digital assets market data provider. Prior to joining the crypto space, he was running simulations in high-performance computational physics for the Aerospace industry and carried out research for Airbus, Safran Aircraft Engines, and Swiss Space Systems. He is a former organizer and advisor of the MIT Bitcoin Expo. His research with the Digital Currency Initiative and the Media Lab at MIT Sloan focused on the economics of cryptocurrency mining. Sacha holds a Master of Finance from MIT, as well as Masters in Engineering from Arts et Metiers ParisTech and a PhD in Aeronautics from Imperial College London.
