Gary Guyton joined our company as Vice President of Investor Relations in July 2024. He brings over a decade of experience in investor relations, including his role as Director of Investor Relations and Planning at Comstock Resources (NYSE: CRK), a $4 billion enterprise value exploration and production company. During his tenure at Comstock, the company completed over $4 billion in M&A transactions and more than $3 billion in balance sheet refinancing. Mr. Guyton has also served as an outsourced investor relations executive across various sectors, including Industrial, Software, Financial Services, Energy, and Transportation/Logistics.
With extensive relationships in the institutional investor and sell-side analyst communities, Mr. Guyton's background includes over 10 years as an Institutional Salesman covering equity investors across major U.S. markets. He has also consulted for two large hedge funds, achieving top-decile performance in each.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Guyton spent five years as an Equity Research Analyst focusing on exploration and production and oilfield services companies. His responsibilities included writing research reports, building complex financial models, and communicating ideas to sales teams and institutional investors.
Mr. Guyton began his professional journey with five years in engineering roles, specializing in energy-related heavy marine construction and refinery turnaround and maintenance. He holds a Bachelor of Civil Engineering degree from Georgia Tech and an MBA from Tulane University.
