Carl Tirella Jr. is co-founder and chief executive officer of Budr Cannabis. Carl has over 7 years of cannabis experience, which led to cofounding Budr in 2023. Under his leadership, the company has opened 6 locations with plans to open 6 more in the next 12 months.

Prior to launching Budr Cannabis, Carl worked as Regional GM for Acreage Holdings, as EMEA-CFO for WestCon Comstor and started his career with General Motors NYTO.

Carl is also a dedicated family man. He and his wife reside in Nyack, New York, with their two small children, Capri and Oliver, and a small Beagle/Dachshund mix. He enjoys spending time with his family, traveling (when the chaos allows it!), watching sports, refereeing college basketball, and playing pickleball. Carl was born in Westchester, NY.
