Nick is a seasoned strategic advisor, investor, and executive with over 15 years of cross-functional experience spanning North America, Europe, and Asia. His expertise lies in commercial strategy, marketing, and investor relations, with a strong track record in navigating complex, highly regulated industries.

Nick spent nearly a decade in the global tobacco sector, most notably as U.S. Director of Marketing at Imperial Brands PLC, where he also led the company’s cannabis corporate development efforts. Under his tenure, Imperial became the first FTSE 30 company to make a cannabis investment, marking a groundbreaking move in 2018.

In 2019, Nick founded KBS Strategic Advisory, a boutique consultancy that supports major corporations and investment funds with commercial entry strategies into emerging sectors including legal cannabis, psychedelics, next-generation products (NGP), and nootropics. His client roster spans global FMCG firms, biosynthetic and medical device start-ups in the U.S. and U.K., governmental bodies, and European investment funds.

Nick also serves on the Advisory Board for CanEx, a leading Caribbean wellness and events company, and is a founding partner of Ceres Associates, a life sciences advisory focused on regulatory and commercial pathways for SMEs entering the U.K. and European food and agri-tech markets.
